The way we start our day can be the make or break factor on the success we experience the rest of the day. When we start our day like a champion, we are more likely to exude confidence, experience productivity and ultimately find success. The benefits in mental health, relationships and inner peace are tremendous. Here are some things you could incorporate into your morning routine to get the most out of your day every day.  It may be beneficial to wake up an hour earlier than usual. Here's a guide on some tasks you could do to build the best morning routine for you.

Instead of checking in with the rest of the world, use this quiet time to check in with yourself and really think about what you want to accomplish in life. Assess if you are on that path and perhaps journal some of the goals you think you should be working on for the day.

Find Stillness

Meditation, breathing or prayer are good ways to check in with yourself. By the time you get to work, you will probably be inundated with deadlines, conversations with colleagues and other pressing issues. So the morning is the perfect time to find stillness, feel grounded, focused and ready to prioritise tasks.

Going outside and breathing in the morning fresh air while repeating affirmations to yourself could be a simple way to start the meditation process. As you build your morning routine you could start doing pilates, yoga or stretches to get the body moving with your mind- a powerful combination for a great start.

Get Moving
